For those of you reading this I hope you had a good life with your Dad whoever that man was.
My memories of my father:
his booming voice whether he was telling a story, laughing or singing
his willingness to help, teach, and above all make sure respect was always a young persons top priority
his love, his amazing love and the way he always let you know he loved you
My Dad never pushed me to live a certain way
My Dad lived his life and let me learn from it, allowed all the questions I could ask, and at times allowed me to find the answers to those questions.
My Dad is the reason I can stand on my own, will sit and problem solve, and always make light of what was a devastating life situation but find the silver lining in somehow
Dad died shoveling snow off the sidewalk, he lived 17 years longer than he should have with only 20% of his heart working. He never gave up, he never gave in, and he always laughed.
Mouse loves you, and misses you dearly. Happy Father’s Day.
